I sat down with the final of finals Monday, and yet, my brain is still spewing out to-do’s for the winter break, the to-see’s for the friends coming in town to visit, and the to-buy’s for the holiday shopping list. Lots and lots to do. But so far, catching up with old friends over brunch dates, and not doing the stand-on-chair-to-get-a-perfect-aerial-shot tradition prior to consuming the instagram-worthy, picture-esque food, sounds just about right. And getting 8+ hours of sleep per night? Yes, please! Because the odds of getting any sleep during the school year, is in fact, exceptionally small. And for all of you still studying and taking exams, well, may the curve ever be in your favor. Sending you lots of love and encouragement.

    Sincerely Yours,
    Janice

H&M skirt // Jeffrey Campbell heels

I’m BACK to my old blogging routine, and I apologize for being MIA for the last couple of months. I’ve been working really hard to get back at it, and you better believe that I have a lot in store for you guys! Watch this space.

Regrettably, I have to keep this short considering that I’m preparing for my interview tomorrow to study abroad next summer. It will mark my first step outside the US and Canada. Wish me good luck! Also, aren’t these photos absolutely amazing? I would like to thank the talented Ms. Blumenthal for capturing these. Let’s step back and guess how many attempts it took to get that skirt (gracefully) flying in the air?

    The Never Ending Love Story

    New York City

Dolce Vita top // Express shorts // Coach heels // Kate Spade Clutch

    photography by Krit McClean

I’ve always had an appreciation for fairytales while growing up with Disney. So when Kate Spade came out with book clutches inspired by romance novels, I was so excited. Being a (proud) hopeless romantic myself, I’d like to think the title will be a reflection of my life, while reminding me of past love stories, and crushes, alike.

Carrying this clutch instantaneously fills the air with love. And I’m sure that magical feeling will follow me everywhere that I carry it.
